The platform frees application creators from having to know traditional programming languages, machine code or to follow the often time-consuming normal development processes. Citizen developers may employ a user-friendly graphical user interface (GUI) that allows components and third-party application program interfaces (APIs) to be hooked together and tested. Modules can be rearranged and repeatedly tested until the expected results are achieved.
